Still low resistance, but with greater stability than the Marauder… The extremely narrow under water bow shape and reduced skin friction, reduces the bow wave to a whisper, added flare keeps the bow from diving while surfing down wind or just driving into waves.  The tracking is improved with smaller rudders.

The Dark Starr has more user-friendly stability curve for an all out proformance kayak racing in rough water.
