Concave sections in the hull beginning at the wing give this boat very little wetted surface area, without being radically unstable in whitewater. The paddler is situated behind center. The hull has a relatively flat bottom. This hull shape and seating position give this boat its speed, especially in shallow water. A full sectioned bow, high volume and ridge running the entire length of the deck prevent the bow from plunging in big water and give the boat structural stiffness. It is a straight running yet maneuverable kayak, stable in big rivers and waves. Ideal for expert racers, river runners and beginning paddlers.
